Pokret means movement in Croatian.
The name captures the idea at the heart of the consultancy: progress requires movement.
Good ideas and ambitious priorities only create value when they are given the structure, support and momentum to move forward.
POKRET was created to help make that movement possible.

POKRET was created with a simple understanding: organisations rarely lack ideas or ambition. More often, the challenge is finding the time, capacity and structure to turn priorities into progress.
Our approach is practical and collaborative. We take the time to understand the organisation, the people involved and what is getting in the way, then bring the structure, focus and additional capacity needed to move the work forward.
Whether the challenge sits within member experience or a wider organisational project, the aim is the same: clear thinking, useful solutions and work that can succeed in the real world.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Founder, POKRET Consulting
My route into this work hasn't been entirely conventional — and that's part of what shaped POKRET.
I studied engineering at the University of Toronto, where I learned to think in systems, break down complex problems and find practical ways forward.
While at university, I founded and led a non-profit organisation in support of paediatric oncology research. This was an early lesson in building something from the ground up, coordinating people and partners, and turning an idea into something tangible.
Since then, I've often found myself becoming the problem-solver in the organisations I've worked for — drawn to challenges that cross teams, need structure or don't fit neatly within one person's remit.
For the past two years, I've worked within a national professional association. It has given me first-hand insight into how membership organisations operate and the realities of turning ambitious priorities into delivered work.
Based in London since 2023, I founded POKRET to bring that experience together with the way I've always approached problems: understand the system, find a practical way forward and help make it happen.
